My Tech Portfolio
Welcome to my E-Portfolio for resources in mathematics for the Alberta curriculum. My portfolio encompasses several programs/software used over time in my spring course EDSE 442: Use of Computers in Mathematics Teaching. Each chapter will include materials that will feature interactive technology, sample questions, links to curricular outcomes, personal reflections and suggestions for exploration in the classroom. My goal was to cover a variety of topics in mathematics at the high school level and learn about different methods of facilitating learning using technology. In addition, I hope this experience has given me the tools to overcome challenges when troubleshooting and working with a variety of electronic programs and devices. As such, since teaching is influenced by many contextual variables, including the use of technology, I believe that taking this course was a crucial-step in my own professional development.
