Map the approximate "highlight points" for a football play that follows the path of a runner or ball. The play you choose must involve at least one diagonal route, Then find the distance on the ground that was covered on the play. The pythagorean theorem or distance formula will be used. Note: the field is marked with dynamic grids so you can zoom in and out of your play. Once completed by hand, check that you are right by finding the total distance of all your segments using the GeoGebra toolbox.
