Visualizing volume by cross-section problems

Change f(x) to represent the function that is the top boundary of your base area. Change g(x) to represent the bottom boundary. These two functions must intersect. Then choose a cross-section shape. Move the slider to change the number of cross-sections in your visualization. Click and drag in the 3-d model to view the model from a different perspective.
