The blue point no the real line represents a particle. The functions s(t), v(t), and a(t) represent the particle's position, velocity, and acceleration at time t. By pressing the play button in the lower left, one may animate the particle's motion, or simply use the slider to do so.

1. When is the particle moving to the right?
2. When is it at rest?
3. Find the total distance traveled during the first 4 seconds.
4. When is the particle speeding up?
5. When is the particle slowing down?
6. Graph the particle's position, velocity, and acceleration and interpret and verify the above.
