Loci - Type 2

Loci 2

The Locus of points which are a fixed distance from a given line. In plain terms: This locus is oblong in shape. This is because all parts of the locus are equidistant from the given line. The straight lines at the top and bottom of the locus are parallel to the Given Line. This means that the locus is at a fixed distance from the Given Line. The semi circles at both ends of the locus are equidistant from the each end of the given line. The fixed distance from the end of the given line can be called the radius of each semi-circle.
