# Plotting parametric curves

This applet plots parametric curves: and are the - and -coordinates, respectively, of the point .
Each of and are functions of the parameter .
Values of run through the interval .
You can set the values of and in the input boxes.
You can also set the value of manually in the input box.
Hover over " " and " " in the left side window to see the equations defining each.
You can change these functions and by typing "x_t = sin(t) - sin(2t)", for example, in the input box.
You can also customise how much the value of changes during the animation with the values for and (" " for "increment" and for "speed" of the animation).
Click "Go" and "Stop" to start/stop the animation. To clear the screen and start over click the circular double arrow icon at top-right.
