The manufacturer of Smile Bright toothpaste conducted a survey. Out of the 2,000 people who responded, 1,250 people said they prefer Smile Bright to any other brand. An advertisement for another toothpaste brand, Mighty Clean, claims that 3 out of 8 people prefer their brand. Use equivalent fractions to determine which brand more people prefer, according to these results, and then find the percent of people who prefer each brand.
