Critical Angle for Total Internal Reflection

Move the blue dot on the left of the incident ray to change the angle that light strikes the surface between a denser material (below) and air (above) to see the resulting refracted and reflected rays. At the critical angel and greater all of the light is reflected--none is refracted. You can change the index of refraction of the denser material using the "n" slider.
