Slope description and formula

Slope is the steepness of a line. Slope is usually shown by the letter (M). To find slope is the total rise over the total run. Y1+Y2 / X1 + X2 . The slope for perpendicular lines are the opposite reciprocal and for parallel lines are congruent.
