The tetrahedral octahedron is one of the non platonic solids depicted by Leonardo da Vinci.
Where the perspective drawing gives a good idea of the shape of the solid and its faces, gives the Schlegel diagram a good insight to the configuration of the vertices and edges.
However it takes some puzzling to figure out which are opposed vertices.
