The perpendicular bisectors have been constructed on the following triangle, forming a circumcenter at point D. Answer the following questions about the circumcenter.
1) Note the length from D to each of the vertices (A, B, and C). Would the circumcenter be a good location for the power station (equidistant from the vertices) or the campground (equidistant from the sides)? 2) Move the vertices to make an acute triangle, right triangle, and obtuse triangle. What do you notice? Is the circumcenter always located inside the triangle?
