Changes in Inequalities due to Multiplication and Division

When we compare 2 quantities or values, the result would be either a less than, equal or greater than type of inequality What happens when both quantities are increased by multiplying or dividing by some value ? Follow the activity by clicking on the Next buttons until the end Repeat this activity for at least 5 times using the START NEW button to see the different operations and values. What can you conclude about an inequality when the quantities on both sides are multiplied or divided by positive numbers ? Will the inequality remain unchanged even though the values have changed? What happens when you multiply or divide the quantities on both sides by negative numbers ? Will the original inequality be reversed because of the change in values? Write down and report your conclusion to your teacher.
