The Globe

The position of a point on the Earth surface is determined by geographic coordinates: latitude and longitude. Latitude ψ – angle between a normal at a given point to a spherical reference surface with a plane of the equator of a reference sphere. <0°, 90°> Longitude λ - angle between a plane of the prime meridian (Greenwich - 0°) and a local meridian, passing through the location.<0°, 180°> Geographics net -  Parallels and Meridians. The locus of  points having a constant latitude/longitude. Task 1: Image of the globe is given by two orthogonal views of centre S and revolution axis o perpendicular to ground projection plane. Construct parallel of latitude ψ and meridian of longitude λ. Referenční kulová plocha je zadána středem S, osou o kolmou k půdorysně, a poloměrem R (měřítko R:6379). Zobrazte rovnoběžku dané severní šířky ψ a západní délky λ. Nárysem plochy ja průmět nultého poledníku p0, půdorysem je průmět rovníku r0.
Posuvníkem můžete měnit kartografické souřadnice bodu P na severní polokouli.
Task 2 - GeoTest 5207 Construct the missing projections A2, B2 of points A, B on a sphere with the center S and the radius r.
