Quadratic Translation and Inverse

Author:
rbwalker15
Create the graph of the inverse of a quadratic equation that has been translated one left, two up, and then flipped over the x axis. Then create its equation from the graph. We need to start by graphing the original equation and its transformation before graphing the inverse. The original quadratic equation is graphed for you below Use the sliders to slide the parabola one left (h) and two up (k). Then use the check boxes in order to get the first point of the inverse. Use the point button to place a few more points on the inverse and then the pen tool to complete the inverse. Then, go to the ABC button and select the pen tool to complete the inverse.
