Baseball Home Runs Using Parametric Equations

Parametric equations finding distance and height of a batted baseball, using trigonometric functions. Given the initial velocity of the swing, and the angle at which the ball is hit, watch the ball travel towards an outfield fence. You can change these to see what happens. You can adjust the height and distance of the fence. Make sure when you change the angle leave the degree symbol. To start the program make sure you start with 0. To see the ball travel click on the arrow in the bottom left hand corner.
For this setup, does the ball clear the fence? What angle maximizes the distance? What velocity is normal for a major league player? Find different ballparks and change your fence criteria to match and see what happens.
