2nd Wernau point

P, the 2nd Wernau point is constructed as follows:
  • Construct the internal equilateral triangles on the sides of triangle ABC.
  • Construct three circles: the circle through A, B', and C', through B, C, and A' and through A, C, B'.
  • The three circles concur in P, X(1338).
The barycentric coordinates of P : (p1 : p2 : p3) are: p1 = a2(2DU + 31/2VW)/(4D - 31/2a2) p2 = b2(2DV + 31/2WU)/(4D - 31/2b2) p3 = c2(2DW + 31/2UV)/(4D - 31/2c2) with D = area(ABC), U = (b2 + c2 - a2)/2, V = (c2 + a2 - b2)/2, W = (a2 + b2 - c2)/2

2de punt van Wernau

P, het 2de punt van Wernau construeer je als volgt:
  • Construeer de interne gelijkzijdige driehoeken op de zijden van driehoek ABC.
  • Construeer drie cirkels: de cirkel door A, B' en C', door B, C en A' en door A, C en B'.
  • De drie cirkels snijden elkaar in P, X(1337).
