  • To predict the area and perimeter of a polygon with infinitely many sides, your team is going to work with other teams to generate data from different polygons and then look for a pattern.

For each polygon you are assigned, calculate the area and perimeter if the radius is 1 unit (as shown in the diagram of the regular pentagon above).  Record your answer accurate to the nearest 0.01.  Place your results below to help predict the area and perimeter of a polygon with infinitely many sides. For each n-gon you are assigned, create the n-gon and label the angles and sides for the interior triangle you used
