Use the buttons to highlight different pairs of dimensions.
These highlighted areas are called planes and are 2-dimensional, but exist in three dimensional space.
Think of each highlighted plane as a flat piece of paper, or a flat board of wood in a 3-dimensional room.
Previously we only graphed in the xy-plane, as it turns out this was 3-dimensional space without any depth (where z=0)
