Perimeter of a Polygon and P-Numbers

This activity uses Archimedes' method of approximating the value of pi. We have inscribed a regular polygon in a circle and use the ratio of the perimeter of the polygon to the diameter of the circle as an approximate value for pi.
Move the slider to change the number of sides of the inscribed polygon and improve the accuracy of the approximation. As n approaches infinity, this ration approaches pi.
