UCSS Math II 4.3.2 Example 1

There are 6 students presenting projects in a history class. The teacher is randomly determining the order in which the students will present. Each student only presents once. Brooke is one of the 6 students. What is the probability that Brooke will be the first student to present?
  1. Determine the sample space.
  2. Determine the number of ways the event can occur.
  3. Find the probability of the event using the determined sample space and number of ways the event can occur.
