Taxicab Perpendicular Bisector

You see two taxi cab circles with equal radii that are controlled by the slider. The intersection of the two circles are the points that are equidistant from each...the analog to the Euclidean perpendicular bisector. Here it looks quite different. Is the shape always the same for every choice of center?
