1. Learning to Plot Vectors in Geogebra

Instructions:

In this activity we will look at plotting vectors in Geogebra. Geogebra offers two different built-in options for plotting vectors: vector(point) and vector(initial point, terminal point) For the first option plot the position vector for any point. Suppose that we want to plot the position vector for the point , that is, the vector . Then in the input section of Geogebra we would type: vector((2,2)) and hit 'enter.' The vector will show up in the graphics window. The second option allows us to plot the vector between any two given points. Suppose you want to plot the vector between the points and . Then in the input section of Geogebra we would type: vector((2,1),(5,6)) and hit 'enter.' The vector will show up in the graphics window. Note that after you hit enter, Geogebra will give you the equivalent vector to the one you just plotted only with the initial point at the origin. This is an important concept to master as Justin Ryan will explain in his lectures. Please complete the following tasks.
