Chris Cambré developed a GeoGebra application to visualize muqarnas in a 3D environment. You can create a muqarnas yourself in the GeoGebra book Muqarnas Tool. Below, is an exmaple of a muqarnas from Amasya See my website Muqarnas for more details.

Creation has been simplified by macro's: select a macro button, click at the right position, and a building unit appears at that position.
