Let’s imagine the line y=4.5 is the x-axis, and instead of saying we want to find the zeros, we say we want to find the 4.5s.
Move the letters a, h, k to modify the shape of the line so that it looks like a parabola.
Try to shape the parabola so that it lies directly onto the half strobe.
What is the coordinate point of the basketball hoop?

After you have finished modifying your parabola, check the quadratic equation where it says "c".
What will you do with this equation to find the 4.5s of the function?
If the ball continues in the same pattern along the parabola, will it go through the hoop? Why or why not?
