Copy of Matrices and linear transformations

Let's apply a linear transformation defined by the matrix - Type in the values for a, b, c, d in the corresponding boxes. You can explore the effects of the transformation when applied to points, lines, circles, functions, and to the square having unitary side length with a vertex in the origin. The transformed objects are shown in black; lines and curves are dashed. There are also some pre-defined transformations: reflections about axes, shears, homotecies and rotations. In order to use shears, homotecies and rotations, you first need to use the slider to set the ratio / rotation angle before pushing the button.
