13.2 Triangle Congruence (AAS)

INSTRUCTIONS:

There are two triangles in this applet. A shaded triangle and a movable triangle. Each represent an independent triangle with parts that are congruent (the same.) Your task is to experiment with moving the non-congruent parts of the movable triangle. Observe if it is possible to create a new triangle that has different shape (angles) or size (sides) or both.

Is it possible to manipulate the movable triangle with side-angle-side that is common with an other triangle so it has different sides (size) or angles (shape) or both?
