The Speed of a Car (Instantaneous Rate of Change)
Adjust the acceleration slider to change the steepness of the curve. Type in the time you wish to know the speed of the vehicle for t_1. Type in a second time t_2 to draw a secant line. Use the red slider to bring in the average speed (secant line) as it approaches the instantaneous speed (tangent line).
