Circular Motion
The green dot moves around in a circle. Its path is called circular motion.
Simple Harmonic Motion
The green dot travels along the x-axis. It has the same x-value as the red dot. The red dot travels in circular motion whilst the green dot travels in simple harmonic motion (SHM).
