Second Practice
Construct lines CD and CE.
Then construct a line through D parallel to CE.
Construct a line through E parallel to CD.
Construct the intersection of these last two lines with the given horizontal line.
Then hide all of your constructed lines (right-click an object to edit properties).
Finally construct just the segments from D and E to the two new points.
