Transversals
Transversals - A line intersecting 2 or more notes
Corresponding Angles - In the same corner
Alternate Interior Angles - Angles on opposite sides inside the space between the two lines
Alternate Exterior Angles - Angles on opposite sides outside of the space between the two lines
Same Side Interior Angles - Angles on the same side inside the space between the two lines
Same Side Exterior Angles - Angles on the same side outside of the space between the two lines
If the two (or more) lines intersected by the transversal are parallel, then:
Corresponding Angles are congruent
Alternate Interior Angles are congruent
Alternate Exterior Angles are congruent
Same Side Interior Angles are supplementary
Same Side Exterior Angles are supplementary
