LC Circuit

This simulation shows the time-dependent behavior of the charge, current, and potential energy of an LC circuit. Use the sliders to adjust the maximum charge on the capacitor, the capacitance, and the inductance of the circuit. Use the drop-down menu to select what to plot.
  1. Is the total energy (capacitor + inductor) stored in the circuit constant?
  2. Why doesn't the amplitude of the energy stored in the inductor change when L is changed?
  3. Everything else being equal, does increasing the capacitance increase the energy stored in the circuit?
