The blue curve shows the distribution of a single normal random variable. The red curve shows the distribution of the mean of a sample of size n from a normal distribution with the same mean and standard deviation as the single normal random variable. Change the mean and standard deviation by moving the appropriate sliders. Move the sliders for A and B to change the bounds on the inequality. Move the slider for the sample size n to see how the probability of being between A and B changes for the two curves.
