Integration according to Riemann
Riemann integration by Lower and Upper sums
How to use this applet
- Insert your function in the box "Fonction f(x)".
- Modify the interval by moving the points A and B on the x-Axis.
- Drag the slider to right or to left to vary the value (number of partitions) or click on and use the left and right arrows.
Result
You can see that when increases, the difference between the Lower and the Upper sums become closer and closer to zero. This means that those sums converges to the same value that is the exact value of the integral.
