Construct a 30-60-90 Triangle

Drawings of geometric figures are created using measuring tools such as a ruler and protractor. Constructions are methods of creating these figures without the benefit of measuring tools. Generally, only a pencil, straightedge, and compass are used in constructions. Sketches are created without the use of any of these tools. A compass can be used to create two equal segments, a copy, instead of using a ruler to measure. A picture of a completed 30-60-90 triangle construction is included below. Using the provided tools in the applet, can you create one yourself? If you are successful, be sure to add your name to your completed sketch and take a screenshot of it! Be sure to include the measurements for the slopes that create the right angle!
