Exploring Convex Kite Construction

Recall that the diagonals of a kite are perpendicular bisectors of each other. That is the basis of the construction of kite ADBE. Please view the construction protocol in action to see the steps involved. Points A, B, and D are movable points, indicated by their blue color. The diagonals are now hidden. The concave kite was avoided by creating a segment DE that is perpendicular to AB, from a circle C whose center lies on AB. Feel free to move A, B, or D to witness the kite's convexity conservation. Thank you!
