Sydney bridge fixed in coordinate system
In Wikipedia we can read that the height of the Pylons are 89 m and that the bridge is 134 m from top to water level.
- From this information, determine the length of the bridge between the points where the lower span crosses the road.
- Begin by determining the scale. Hom many meters or centimeters is one step in the coordinate system?
- Can you determine the scale in more than one way?
- Use small point sizes, clear colours and zoom to make sure your work is as accurate as possible.
