Bearings: Dynamic Illustrator

To use this applet, 1) Enter the distance and bearing from point A to point B. 2) Enter the distance and bearing from point B to point C. 3) Slide the first slider to clearly illustrate. 4) If you wish, you can slide the 2nd slider (soon to appear) to illustrate the distance and bearing form point A to point C. Use this applet to help check your work when solving problems like these. Even though the distance sliders range from 0 to 10, you can still use this applet to solve problems involving greater distances. (For example, if the two distances are 86 miles and 48 miles, simply scale down and use the values 8.6 and 4.8.)
