Exponentialoid

There are two families of curves resulting from intersecting the exponentialoid surface with horizontal and vertical planes:
  • Horizontal section (blue curves): The hyperbola where h is the height of point H.
  • Vertical section (orange curve): The bell curve where (x0, y0) is the position of point P. This is the general Gaussian function which is the probability density function of normal distribution.
