Illustration of the flux form of the Green's Theorem

Consider a vector field that models a flow. The vectors represents the velocities of moving particles of a fluid. The total outward flux across the boundary of a region enclosed by a simple piecewise smooth curve (a circle in this case) is equal to the double integral of the divergence of the field.
