Choose one of three boxes [Velg en av tre bokser]
You are supposed to pick one of three boxes. One of these contains a price (fancy car!). Then one box without the price is removed, and you get the opportunity to pick the remaining box instead of the one you picked first. Is this to your advantage in order to win the price?
To investigate the problem, you can run at least 20 games and consequently either keep your first choice all the time or consequently switch boxes. The chart to the right will sum up your results and calculate the relative frequencies. What is the propability of winning the car if you switch boxes? What is the propability of winning the car if you keep your first choice?
