Dilations Exploration
In this exploration you can see what happens when you change the dilation factor, e. You can also move the center of dilation, E, and/or move the polygon ABCD relative to E. The line segments connecting A to E and A' to E, etc, are included to help you see what happens as you change things in the applet.
