Preserving Parallelism-Translations

For Math 2 MVP Module 3 Lesson 4

Follow the instructions below to construct this task. 1) Using the polygon tool, create a polygon of any (reasonable) size. 2) Select the "translate by vector" tool, then select your parallelogram, then select the blue vector at the bottom of the screen. (You can use the Hide object button and click on the blue vector to hide it at this point). 3) Use the sliders to translate your figure and take careful note of the relationship between corresponding sides of the pre-image and image.
