An Angle on Things (Acute, Right, Obtuse)

Besides their sides, triangles can also be classified by their angles. Angles tell us how sharp or wide the corners are. Just like with sides, there are three main types.Your next mission is to build each of these using the applet!
  • Acute Triangle: All three angles are "sharp," meaning every angle is less than 90°.
  • Right Triangle: This triangle has one perfect 90° angle, like the corner of a square.
  • Obtuse Triangle: This triangle has one "wide" angle that is greater than 90°.
Manipulate the vertices AB, and C until you can form each of these three types. Keep a close eye on the angle measurements inside the triangle!
