Mathematical Connection of the Game

Using cartesian coordinates we mark a point on a graph by how far along and how far up it is. Coordinate system is very important issue for not only mathematics but also our daily life because the coordinate system helps us in terms of many field of life. For example; navigation systems in our phones, seating arrangement in cinemas or our cars work on the basis of coordinate systems. We created this game in order to understand coordinate system deeply. Thanks to this game students will be able to actively engage in concepts of coordinate system. They try to put the given points on correct places and then they can so readily check whether their answers are correct or not. We also considered that each point is located in different quadrants so that students can work at both negative and positive values.
