Vector Directions - Physics 20

To use this applet: 1. Selection tool is at the top left. 2. Reset tool is at the top right. 3. You can zoom in and out as well as move the graph around. Mouse wheel - zoom Mouse click and drag - move track pad/touch screens - varies on device. 4. Vector information and input is found at the top left. 5. Click on the selection box chooses between Input Mode and Free Mode. 6. Input Mode allows you to input magnitude and direction using the polar angle method. There are no units associated with the magnitude, but you can choose them to represent whichever unit you need it to be. i.e. the original magnitude is 100 which could be 100 m, 100 km/h, 100 m/s etc. 7. Free Mode - use the selection tool found in the top left to click on the head of vector v and drag it to produce the desired vector.
