Tussen de twee rode punten kunnen we verschillende routes nemen.
De paarse route lijkt korter dan de groene maar toch is het niet zo. Met het gele punt kan je de paarse route over de aardbol wijzigen. Maar korter dan de groene route kan het niet.
In volgend werkblad kan je zien waarom dit zo is.

We can take different routes to travel between the two red points on the globe.
It looks like the magenta route is the shortest, but it isn't. You can change the magenta route by dragging the yellow point but shorter then the the green route isn't possible.
In the next acitivity you can see why.
