(1) Draw a
triangle.
(2) Draw the angle
bisector for each angle.
(3) Draw the point
of concurrency (INCENTER).
a.
Drag around one of the vertices of the
triangle. Does the incenter ever leave
the triangle?
(4) “Right click”
on each angle bisector and uncheck “Show Object”.
(5) Select
“Perpendicular Line”
a.
Click on the INCENTER and then one side of the
triangle.
b.
Repeat for all three sides.
c.
Draw the points of intersection where each side
intersects its perpendicular line.
(Careful!)
(6) Select “Circle
with Center through Point”
a.
Select the INCENTER and one point from 5c.
b.
Does the circle pass through all points from 5c?
