AQR Section 13 Exercise 60: Should You Guess? (Part 1)
- Steve Phelps
Should you guess? A multiple-choice exam has four possible answers for each question. For each correct answer, you are awarded 5 points. For each incorrect answer, 2 points are subtracted from your score. For answers left blank, no points are added or subtracted. To simulate this, click on one of the check boxes. Click on the "New Question" button to take another guess. Click on the "Reset" button to set your Total Points to zero.
If you do not know the correct answer to a particular question, is it to your advantage to guess? How often do you guess correctly?
