Dilations

Using the following applet you can explore the changes a figure undergoes when a dilation is performed. Point B is your point of dilation, you can move it freely to see how that point's position can affect the outcome of the dilation. The slider changes the dilation factor in increments of one half. Angle values for each other the triangle's angles are provided. Lastly, feel free to move the original points C, D or E to change the original triangle.
