Centroid divides median in the ratio 2:1
Median is line segment joining vertex and midpoint of opposite side of any triangle. So, there are three medians of triangle and these medians are always meets at a point and such point of intersection is called centroid. Distance of centroid from vertex is always twice of distance from midpoint of opposite side.
